Business Incubator site are now available to Standing Rock small businesses. The business incubator is located on the Sitting Bull College new campus in Fort Yates, ND as part of the Entrepreneurial Center. Additional business incubator sites are available at the new Satellite Entrepreneurial Center site in McLaughlin, SD.

The Entrepreneurial Center, after five plus years of planning and fund raising, has now become a reality on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. The Entrepreneurial Center is the site for the Tribal Business Information Center (TBIC), the Standing Rock Business Equity Loan Fund, Business Administration faculty offices and classrooms, a computer lab with a business use focus, a community meeting room and six business incubator offices.

A business incubator on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation puts this reservation on the cutting edge in small business and entrepreneurial development. The idea behind a business incubator is to give startup and early stage businesses the tools and advantages that ultimately result in them becoming successful businesses in the community. The Entrepreneurial Center will provide a wide range of technical assistance, consulting and financial assistance to small businesses. Some of these services include entrepreneurial training, assistance in business plan preparation, business related workshops, assistance with project financing, and access to credit counseling services. The Entrepreneurial Center has six business incubator sites at the Fort Yates facility that are available for business occupancy. Three business incubator sites are available at the McLaughlin Satellite site.

The Entrepreneurial Center will continue free credit counseling services to all reservation residents. A financial counselor from The Village Family Service Center will available one day a month throughout the fall months. For appointments, call The Village Family Service Center @
